Finally Getting Around to Posting

Here are some pictures of our fun trips to Delta this summer. Luke sure loves Gammy and Gampy's house! The swimming pool Alyssa and Luke are playing in was a gift from Gregg's parents. It was so fun to see Luke and Alyssa having so much fun!

Hanging out at the Delta splash pad! It's a pretty awesome addition to the town and Luke loves it!! He was a little timid at first with all the water shooting everywhere, but then he got the hang of it. :)

Luke and Jade having a chance to hang out together.

Luke's first ice cream cone! He couldn't quite figure out how to eat it at first. This ice cream cone was actually shoplifted when Grandpa Miller forgot to pay for it. :) His conscience got the better of him and we went back and paid the 25 cents.

This fall Luke ate a lot of corn on the cob. He did pretty well eating it right off the cob!

We were able to see Lainey's baby blessing the kids liked hanging out in Tom and Amanda's backyard.

Just some random, cute, fashion-forward pics of Luke. :)

Family Pictures and Luke's 18-Month Pictures

We decided to try out FotoFly for our family pictures this summer, since Luke is now 18-months and we never got any done at his one-year mark.  Tasha really liked that studio for her family pictures so we decided to try them too!  Most of them turned out really good, so we were happy!  We're not in love with studio settings in general (we don't like to have such rigid instructions for poses), but the pictures turned out great so I guess they're doing something right! :)  I think next time we'll go for more candid shots, but in the mean time, we're happy to have some professional current pictures of our family!

This last one kind of cracked us up. It was an idea from our photographer to do a silhouette shot, but it looks more like we're sending Luke off to heaven. :)

Our Big Fence Project!

Thank you, thank you, thank you my dearest dad Kevin Miller for your expertise, willingness to work, and physical labor! You designed our brand new fence amazingly and we LOVE the outcome. Also, thanks so much to Roger for helping to dig holes ALL DAY LONG. Here's a bunch of pictures from the two-day long process.

Here's basically what Gregg does all day, hand tools to Kevin who does the real work :)

It was great having Roger and Alyssa over here for the day (thanks Tasha)

Alyssa and Luke loved playing together in the dirt with their "gardening tools"

Grandma Miller loved spending time with Luke!

Now on to day two...

You can see the amazing progress on day two with all the pickets going up. The finished product looks great. We just need to get some stain on it, but we're waiting for a non-windy day in West Valley.

Here's another picture with Grandma and Luke. He looks bored out of his mind :)

We had a chance to go to Delta for Memorial Day weekend and we had so much fun! Luke especially loved the big backyard he had to play in. He loves Grandma and Grandpa Miller's house.
