Miller Family Vacation!

Before the vacation, however, we've got some random pics Halloween photo's to share. Luke looked so cute this day for some reason! I just had to take a lot of pics.

Here's Luke's super cheesy grin

"I'm ready for my close-up!"

This has been one of his favorite toys ever. Kevin is trying to interpret this to mean he is going to play basketball when he gets older. :)

Gregg found him one morning like this. Must have been a wild night!

Here's Luke in his last minute Batman costume. We thought he looked pretty cute.

Now on to to the Miller vacation!!

Packed in the van leaving the Long Beach Airport.

We went to a pier in Oceanside and ate at a great restaurant called Ruby's Diner. Look's like Luke wants to swim with the fish.

Luke and Jade loved playing together on the trip. One of their favorite spots to play was on the steps in the house we rented.

Our first full day there was spent relaxing at the house and going to the beach.

Luke practicing his walking skills at the beach.

Gregg and Tom are ridiculous!! They went super far into the freezing cold ocean.

The next day we were at Sea World!

About to ride the Manta roller coaster! We had no idea they would have roller coasters there!

Jade having fun on one of the playgrounds in the park.

The next day we headed to the San Diego Zoo. For some reason I was so fascinated with the giraffe's. We had to get a photo in front of them.

If you look closely you can see Luke trying to eat the button on top of Gregg's hat. He really enjoyed that activity. :)

Hanging out in the hot tub at the house after the zoo.

And now... Legoland! This was probably our favorite part of the whole trip!

It was amazing what they were able to do with Lego's!

DUPLO Playtown was the best for Luke's age. They had these foam blocks that Luke loved! There was hardly anyone at the park so Luke had the place to himself.

Gregg's dream car! :)

"Luke, I am your father."

How appropriate for Luke :)

The family standing in front of the New York skyline made completely out of Lego's!!

The next day we did a boat tour of the San Diego harbor.

Luke with Grandpa Miller. Luke's doing his favorite surprised face. :)

We also stopped by the USS Midway.

And the last day there was another relaxing day where we hung around the house, went to the beach, and in the evening we went and saw the San Diego Temple.  We didn't take any pictures of the San Diego Temple, but that really was the perfect ending to our vacation!  It was absolutely gorgeous all lit up at night, especially with all the Christmas lights.  Thank you SO MUCH Mom and Dad for making this all happen for us.  The vacation was wonderful.  We really loved the time to spend together, and all the fun things you provided for us.  And I know Luke loved spending time with Gammy and Gampy, Uncle Tom, Aunt Amanda, and cousin Jade!  We love you guys!

The slackers finally create a post!

This is Luke's first time going to a water park. It was back in mid-August and we had our wonderful friends, the Turners, come with us. It was really fun to see Luke in the open water. He's really only ever taken a bath. This was a lot more for him. By the time we were done he was so tired!

Here's some of the Turners that came with us.

Ahh yes, the chocolate syrup incident. Luke has been enjoying playing with random containers of food items we've had. I thought the chocolate syrup container would be fun for him because it was a different shape and color than he had played with before. The lid wasn't on as tight as I thought. Clearly, I was wrong.

Amazingly enough all of this came out in the wash!

Here's some photo's from our September trip to Delta.

Luke teaching Conlan some piano skills.

 He loves his vitamin bottle!

We helped to watch the Grant kids from our ward so their parents could have a night out together. It was very crazy, though. We went from one kid to six kids! We survived, though. We even convinced Amy to come and helping us.

This is Ginny, Luke's girlfriend :)

Almost everyone hanging out in the family room watching Lion King.

Luke's favorite pastime lately, getting into the tupperware drawers.

After us girls met up for the Relief Society Broadcast we all came to our house afterwards for dessert. This is us hanging out!

Gregg's proud moment: our pumpkin patch. There's even more of them that either are buried in the garden or given to kids in the neighborhood.

Cute pic of Luke!

A not-so-cute pic of Luke. He was using the piano bench for support and he fell. Then the bench fell on top of him. It gave him a pretty good black eye and a cut across his eyelid. Gregg almost had to call DCFS on himself. :)
